Baby Steps on Health

  • Listen to your body

  • Stay Active - Walk, Run, Cycle or Do Yoga

  • Stay hydrated

  • Avoid added sugars and refined flour (maida)

  • Avoid Ultra Processed Foods

  • Eat Nuts and Seeds

  • Sleep with no alarms

  • Maintain your weight (BMI)

Baby Steps on Wealth

  • Track your expenses

  • No credit cards

  • No loans

  • Emergency Fund: Have 6 - 10 months of expenses in savings account

  • Buy Health and Term Insurance

  • Donate 1% of your income per month

  • Invest: 40% of your income per month on Index funds via SIP

Baby Steps on Relationships

  • Be fully present - Practice Mindfulness

  • Take time to talk to your family every single day - you are not busy

  • Willing to listen and understand their perspectives

  • Build trust - deeply care for each other

  • Expect nothing in return

  • Explore new activities together, surprise each other and create shared memories

  • Physically express your appreciation / affection - thumbs up, hold hands, hug

  • Argue constructively - Focus on resolving issues rather than winning.
